Ophir IR Optics 2024 Catalog
R&D and Engineering Optical coating Support Quality assurance Our R&D engineers design, develop and test lens assemblies, leveraging state-of- the-art design tools and continuously improving manufacturing techniques. The team’s responsibilities include developing prototypes for extensive pre-production testing, creating customized calibration and testing processes, and providing complete engineering customer support. Our innovative designs and engineering allow us to use fewer elements, increase efficiency, produce lighter weight components, and lower overall assembly costs. Ophir is recognized as a world leader in the development, production and application of advanced optical coatings. Using a class 1,000 clean room, we offer a variety of coating techniques, including: Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) – Thermal heating & Electron gun, Ion Assisted Deposition (IAD) - Ion gun, Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition (PECVD) for DLC coatings. With over 40 years of experience, we are recognized as a world leader in the development, production and application of advanced optical coatings. Our highly abrasion-resistant, anti-reflective (AR) coatings include several types of DLC coatings which provide maximum durability, energy transmission & minimal reflection, these include: AR, Mirrors and Filters | VIS, NIR, SWIR, MWIR, LWIR | Multispectral coatings | DLC (HC) coatings and Low Reflection HC (LRHC) | Hydrophobic coatings. Even after delivery, Ophir remains at your service, providing training and support to your staff. Our complete knowledge transfer and ongoing after-sales customer support ensures that you get the very best out of your product, now and into the future. All our manufacturing departments are AS9100 Rev. D and ISO 9001:2015 certified. From design to delivery, our quality measurement system ensures that all of our products meet the highest specifications and quality standards. At the design stage, risk analysis methodologies and a robust R&D procedure set the stage for success. This is followed by thorough prototyping and production, with material control, in-process testing, operator inspections and final inspections ensuring maximum quality. We have test equipment for measuring radius, Irregularity (IRR), roughness, angle and spectrum, to ensure every product meets the tight tolerances required for high performance. We also test our products to meet environmental standards including humidity, abrasion, chemical attacks and temperature cycles. We have control over the entire manufacturing process, with our highly professional and experienced team upholding our reputation for excellence. 7 For latest updates please visit our website: www.ophiropt.com/infrared About Ophir 02-2024
